Every time I sit at a Davidelfin's front row I know I'm up for a proper show: from the set, the music to, of course, the clothes. David always create a different atmosphere that transports you far away from where you are actually sitting and for this a/w 2012 collection, named Will (in all its meanings), we were taken to what it look like a sort of Nasa laboratory. Rehabilitation is probably one of key words since David's main inspirations for this season were the aim to keep on going, the aim to be visible, the willpower. Hence the use of latex and reflective materials, also applied to the accessories that for second consecutive season I've had the pleasure to collaborate with. My personal order for next winter? the neoprene shorts, the panther print biker and one of the latex collar white shirts!
Cuando te sientas para ver un desfile de Davidelfin sabes que estas a punto de presenciar un desfile en condiciones: Desde el set, la música, y por supuesto, las prendas. David siempre construye una atmósfera diferente a la anterior tele-transportandote lejos de donde realmente estas sentado y para esta colección de O/I 2012 llamada Will (voluntad, deseo, futuro) nos trasladamos a lo que parecía un laboratorio de la Nasa. Rehabiliación (de la muscular) es probablemente la palabra más acertada para describir la inspiración de David para ésta temporada: las ganas de seguir adelante, de ser visible. De ahí el uso del latex o materiales reflectantes, también aplicados a los accesorios con los que por segunda temporada consecutiva he tenido el placer de colaborar. Mi pedido personal para el próximo invierno? Los pantalones cortos de neopreno, la chaqueta biker de estampado pantera y una de esas camisas con el cuello de latex!
