I understand everything now: Those who follow me on instagram will know recently I've been seeing dots everywhere... Just got back from the coolest trip to New York thanks to Louis Vuitton who cordially invited me to celebrate with them the new collaboration with Yayoi Kusama. During my stay in the big apple we attended the window unveil at the 5ht Avenue store, the very same Yayoi Kusama graced us with her presence and almost made us cry with her touchy speech, and the pop up store in SoHo which I loved. We had some champagne and I secretly toasted for Louis Vuitton to keep making collaboration like this with amazing artist like Kusama who brings art into fashion or like Murakami, Stephen Sprouse or Richard Prince who collaborated with Vuitton in the past. But that wasn't all! We visited Yayoi Kusama's intallation Guidepost To The New Space at Pier 45, just by the Hudson River.
As you can see that was my favourite part of the day!
Ahora lo entiendo todo: Los que me seguis en instagram sabreis que últimamente no he parado de ver puntos en todos lados... Acabo de llegar del viaje mas guay a Nueva York gracias a Louis Vuitton que tuvieron el detalle de invitarme a celebrar con ellos la nueva colaboración con Yayoi Kusama. Durante mi estancia en la gran manzana asistí a la presentación de los escaparates en la tienda de la 5 avenida, donde la mismísima Yayoi Kusama nos deleitó con su presencia y casi nos hace llorar con su charla, y visitamos la pop up store del SoHo, que me encantó. Bebiendo champagne secretamente brindé por que Louis Vuitton siga haciendo este tipo de colaboraciones, mezclando el mundo del arte con la moda como hizo también Murakami, Sprouse o Richard Prince, que colaboraron con Vuitton en el pasado. Pero eso no fue todo! Tambien nos acercamos a la instalación de Guidepost To The New Space en Pier45, con vistas al rio Hudson, como podeis ver fue mi parte favorita del día!
