Once again, the day I was waiting for so much had arrived. The new Davidelfin collection was shown on saturday after a short film starring Bimba Bose (David´s muse) in which it looked like she wasn´t going to make it to open the show, but wow, she did! Even though it was David´s tenth anniversary at Madrid Fashion Week and it could have been a perfect time for revisiting his greatest hits or work on a little self-homage he preferred to look forward with a collection rich in identity and also with something he had never done before: his own print: Tutti-frutti. David hand painted the Dr. Martens the male models were wearing, the girls were on Christian Louboutin, the amazing jewelry was by Mawi and I had the honor to work for third season on the bags.
Una vez mas el día mas esperado para mi de cada fashion week había llegado. La nueva colección de Davidelfin se presentaba el sábado tras un corto protagonizado por Bimba Bose en el que parecía que no llegaría a abrir el desfile, pero lo hizo, y de que manera! A pesar de que un décimo aniversario puede ser el momento perfecto para revisitar grandes éxitos o hacerse un pequeño autohomenaje David decidió mirar hacia adelante con una colección con mucha identidad y atreverse con algo que nunca había hecho, un print tutti-frutti. Los chicos llevaban Dr. Martens pintadas a mano por David, las chicas Christian Louboutin, las increíbles joyas eran de Mawi y yo tuve el honor de trabajar por tercera temporada en el diseño de los bolsos.
