Wow, what a nice surprise when I got back from Paris and found out two more magazines had featured me in their pages! This has definitely been the month of the press, with five different international magazines printing my name, I thought it totally deserved a special post!

Pelayo Diaz Zapico is the real prince of London. The 23-year old is the official muse for UK-Fashionista, his blog katelovesme.net has generated in the last two years over a million views and made him from local hero to cewebrity. His crown is his hair, he wears it upwards, same with his head – Prince Pelayo is a piece of fashion, he is interweaved in it, he lives it. The Central St. Martin’s student already sells his creations like the hand-pinned cross-T in boutiques in Paris. His own Style is a mix of James Deans rough coolness added with Marc Jacobs' kilt-look, heavy Doc Martens and a biker frindge leather jacket. Or in his own words. „ LA Kid meets 50ies pimp.“ People wear Pelayos creations from Soho to the East End, because Pelayo embodies all facettes of an It-Boy, he is not just one of them, he impersonates them all. You will find his name on every guestlist, street style photographers like „Facehunter“ or „The Startorialist“ Scott Schumann have Pelayo constantly on their radar. 10 Magazine named him as one of the 10 most influential bloggers, he was male-pinup in Electric Youth Mag and Nylon Guys showed the big style of the small Pelayo in Xtra Large. With the age of 23 the talented Mr. Zapico is fixed in the business. What is there left to come? "Watch out for me, I have a plan"

And big, big, big thank you to Vogue, XLsemanal, GQ, Vanidad, Tush and all the magazines that have been featuring me (or even naming me) lately, it's great to get a bit of recognition and it all helps to keep it going on!
