Cuando alguien me enseña un arco-iris siempre trato de recordar cuando fue la última vez que vi uno, y donde estaba. Me pasó lo mismo cuando ví el último desfile primavera/verano 2012 de Davidelfin, Katharsis, me pregunté cuando y donde fue la última vez que vi algo tan bonito y tan autentico. La respuesta es fácil, hace seis meses, en el mismo sitio. Las colecciones de David siempre me tocan, de una manera o de otra, son tan especiales, tan particulares y con tanto sentimiento que me quedo sin palabras, incapaz de escribir una crítica con sentido... Me he quedado deslumbrado, Katharsis ha sido como mirar directamente al sol, por la vitalidad, el colorido y la energía que me han transmitido, y porque he tenido el placer de colaborar con David en el diseño de los bolsos, junto a Christian Louboutin (tacones), Dr Martens (zapatos) y Mawi (joyas). Que ganas de que llegue la primavera que viene y ponermelo absolutamente todo! (menos los tacones y los vestidos, claro)
Everytime someone shows me a rainbow I try to remember when was the last time I saw one, and where was I. The same happened while watching the last Davidelfin's ss12 show, named Katharsis, I wondered when and where was the last time I saw something so beautiful and so authentic. The answer was easy, six months ago and at the same place. David's collections always touch me, in a way or another, they are so special, so unique and with so much feeing I can barely manage to type a single word... I got blinded by it, Katharsis has been like looking straight into the sun, for its vitality, wise use of colour, its good energy, and because I had the pleasure of collaborating with David in the design of the bags, among Christian Louboutin (shoes), Dr Martens and Mawi (jewelry). I just can't wait for spring and wear absoutely everything! (minus the heels or the dresses, obvs)
