This week I popped down to Dover Street Market, one of my favorite stores in London, located in one of those neighborhoods where I always feel underdressed, Mayfair, in London.
Welcome to the crazy, amazing, happy and colorful world of Comme des GarÇons...
On the ground floor I found a really cool window installation; celebrating 60 years of
Charles M Schulz's comic, The Peanuts, they've launched limited edtion products
including a few brands like Lacoste, Converse, Hysteric Glamour, Loopwheeler,
Original Fake, Longchamp or Mulberry.
Then, the exclusive instalation in the basement (wherelse?), of the really talented young russian artist, Gosha Rubchinskiy. There is a slection of pieces from his bestsellers, first time he sells outside Russia and I want it all. It's so the new me... (you'll see what I mean)
He even has a little fanzine, so inspiring!
Then the safety-pins jewelry pieces from the Ileana Makri caught my eye...
Also loved the Hannah Martin x Hannah Marshal ring!
And moving to the menswear!
This is the changing room where, while trying on that famous kilt I wear so much,
I onced heard myself saying out loud: 'I love it, I love this place, I'm so getting this!"
I need this jacket for my last year at Saint Martins, protection!
Then, I can't help it, we made a visit to the first floor to admire the main Comme des Garcon collection, such a clever bunch of garements, If only they have done exactly-the-same for men..
I love a bit of tartan
Having a bit of fun with the CDG Shirt collection,
Those trousers went really well with my McQ shirt,
multi color socks and my Vans shoes!
Also, I loved the little space they have on the 2nd floor called World Archive, where they keep
special things they buy all over the world
CDG Homme Deux for Dr. Martens
CDG - The Beatles collection!
The biggest and most amazing Alaia universe is also kept in this amazing building,
I probably don't have to say more:
CDG Alter Ego Jewellery. Fun!
There you go, I hope I gave you enough material for your Christmas wish list!
Don't rember to PLAY, it's just fashion!
